MEET DR ASHLEE CLARK
Perth Chiropractor | Dr Ashlee Clark, DC
Dr Ashlee Clark (Chiropractor) was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand, where she grew up on a farm and was privileged to have had a very active outdoor lifestyle.
Dr Clark was first introduced to Chiropractic after sustaining a neck injury during her years of competitive Judo. After consultation and treatment from many healthcare professionals with no significant improvement, a last resort appointment was made to see a chiropractor by her mother Vicky.
After so long with significant and debilitating neck pain, Ashlee attended the Chiropractic appointment. Under Chiropractic care, a full recovery was made.
The whole chiropractic experience had a profound impact on her. This twinned with her desire to care for and help others, led her to the chiropractic profession.
Dr Ashlee Clark completed a 5-year degree and graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic from the internationally renowned New Zealand College of Chiropractic and has since also become a Certified Posture Expert.
After graduation she relocated to Edinburgh, where she worked as a Chiropractor for 4 years. During this time she was able to assist many people in the Edinburgh community back to health and good function. She also established partnerships with several corporate businesses and gyms, attended many health and fitness events and presented at various workplaces and seminars.
During her time in Edinburgh, she also met her now husband, Mark Duigan. After marrying, they decided to move to Perth to be closer to family and to take advantage of the wonderful countryside that is on offer.
Ashlee has a keen interest in postural correction and assisting people of all ages to reach their health potential. She understands the need for research-based practice, therefore, continues with further study and regularly attends seminars.
Dr Ashlee Clark is a Certified Posture Expert, which means she has expert knowledge and skills in providing postural correction and maintenance.
Outside practice hours, Ashlee enjoys making use of the beautiful countryside where you might see her walking her two French Bulldogs, Hugo and Ollie. Chances are, you may also see her at local sporting events and football matches as her husband, Mark, is still actively involved both playing and coaching.
Ashlee is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and is a member of the Scottish Chiropractic Association.
